Savannah and Mike’s beautiful Charlotte City Club wedding in December has all the Christmas wedding feels with a downtown city vibe! Clearly we’re a little late in posting this but who doesn’t want Christmas to come early? Especially with the way 2020 is going. We all need a little Christmas cheer and inspiration. Then throw in Chick-Fil-A at the reception as a late night snack, Sol Fusion Band, and a “Just Married” rickshaw at the end during sparklers and that’s just icing on top of an already spectacular day!

They were married at St. Peter Catholic Church first and we explored the area around the church and The Green for photos! All the brick on the outside of the church and surrounding areas really fit the Christmas feel. Also, right after the ceremony the sun drenched sidewalk made for dreamy photos. Then we headed to the Charlotte City Club where the reception was held. In addition to the incredible views of the city, the  twinkle of the lights, and Christmas trees with the decor could not have been any better. Jackie Fogartie with Jackie Fogartie Events did all the event planning for the wedding and she nailed it!

How cool is the wax seal of the Charlotte skyline for their invitations! It was a great little detail to include with their ring shot too.

When in doubt, pop champagne! We love when the bridesmaids or the wedding party pop champagne. It’s not only a great photo and video op but everyone can’t help but smile when it happens!

We love celebrating our amazing couples! Witnessing these two incredible humans say “I do” and really enjoy their wedding day was awesome. Cheers to Mr. and Mrs. McCoy!
