After our pizza break at Bleecker Street Pizza, Molly and JB weren’t quite ready for the evening to end—and honestly, neither were we. That’s the beauty of a West Village engagement session in New York City. There’s always another corner, another street, another story waiting to unfold.
We continued our stroll through the winding streets until the unmistakable arch of Washington Square Park came into view. The park was alive with its usual charm, musicians playing, couples strolling, and the hum of New York energy all around. We found a quiet bench in the sunlight, the rays falling perfectly behind Molly and JB as they laughed and leaned into one another. These moments are our favorites, when couples forget about the camera and simply enjoy being together. It’s in those small, unposed exchanges that the best photos come to life.

Cocktails and Flash Photography
From there, we headed to The Spaniard, one of West Village’s most iconic cocktail bars. Drinks in hand, Molly and JB invited us into their world, easy laughter, witty banter, and that spark that makes photographing couples like them so effortless. The staff even let us slip into their private bar room for some flash photography. The moody lighting and playful vibes gave us another layer of storytelling. An edgy, stylish twist to balance the golden romance of earlier.

A Perfect NYC Ending
By the time we stepped outside, the sun had dipped low. Taxis whizzed past as the skyline shimmered in the distance, and we grabbed a few final shots before calling it a day. This West Village engagement session with Molly and JB had everything—city grit, timeless romance, and pizza-fueled fun. Truly, it’s one of our favorite New York City sessions to date.
