Tucked away, in the tall trees along the shore of Lake Tahoe, is one of the most serene wedding venues that we absolutely adore shooting at, Valhalla. It’s the perfect spot to get woodsy outdoor vibes and also views of the beach and lake.

Meagan and Conor had a perfect day for a wedding at Valhalla. The sun was shining with just a cool breeze. But there were still hints of snow on the ground in the shady spots and up on in the mountain tops too. The whole day was filled with so much emotion. No one held back. There were happy tears all around, just how we like it! Conor’s reaction at their first look is the kind you always hope the groom has. It was awesome! Another unique part of their day was Meagan’s family. She is one of ten siblings and this was the first time they had been together in a very long time! It was such a sweet moment to capture all the kids squeezing and loving on their mom. One of our most favorite parts of wedding days is when it brings everyone together!

Fun Fact!- the day after their wedding on our drive out of Lake Tahoe it was snowing so much we had to put chains on our tires to get out. Haha! It also ended up snowing 8 inches. The weather is definitely wild and unpredictable there especially since the entire week before it was warm and sunny. We even sun tanned on the beach one day.
