There’s something undeniably classic about The Plaza Hotel — with its iconic architecture and timeless style, it set the perfect scene for Lauren and Evan’s engagement session. From the start, they brought such a fun, relaxed energy to the day, making the whole experience feel effortless and genuinely them.

They started off in style, toasting with champagne in crystal glasses and sharing bites of a beautifully simple cake they brought along. The vibe was equal parts elegant and laid-back — a perfect match for the surroundings.

Then came the part that really showed off their playful side. Shoes off, they jumped on the bed in one of The Plaza’s signature suites, laughing and completely in the moment. It was one of those scenes you don’t stage — just pure joy.

And of course, we couldn’t resist the luggage cart. Evan pushed Lauren through the hallways, both of them cracking up the whole time. It felt spontaneous and fun, and made for some of the most memorable photos of the day.

To wrap up, we headed out to Central Park. The sky was overcast and the air had that quiet, moody feel that only a cloudy day in New York can bring. The soft light gave everything a romantic, almost cinematic quality — perfect for a few quieter, more intimate portraits to close out the session.

Lauren and Evan’s shoot was the perfect mix of style and personality — a little luxury, a little spontaneity, and a whole lot of genuine connection.

We still can’t get over how fun this engagement session at The Plaza hotel was! And finishing in Central Park was just the icing on the cake. Can’t wait to be back in the city soon, it never disappoints!
