Southport Beach Engagement | Southport, NC | Chelsea + Justin

We arrived in Southport, NC the day of Chelsea and Justin’s beach engagement session.  When we got there it was INSANELY windy and not to mention incredibly cold. Now don’t get me wrong, we love wind, and sometimes we really love the cold, haha, but on this day it was brutal! So we decide to gamble and see if at sunrise the weather would be better. It was! It was just windy enough and the golden glow off the water in the morning was beautiful. We spent the early hours of the morning capturing these two on the beach and the rocks in the water. Chelsea and Justin love adventure so they were pumped to climb into the water to get up on the rocks and snuggle to keep warm. We also walked up on the City Pier in Southport and snapped some images under the Live Oaks.

After a quick outfit change we headed to the pier before the sun got too high. It was such an awesome morning and we’re so glad we changed last minute!
