We spent a few days exploring Sedona and we decided Cathedral Rock would be an epic location for Cayla and CJ’s engagement! We all met in the morning first, where CJ basically froze on their motorcycle on the way! But don’t worry, he made it and thawed out quickly! haha. The very talented, and our dear friend, Madison of M Squared Styles was with us to do Cayla’s hair and makeup. Jenny from Meraki Blommor brought the gorgeous florals. She performed her magic for our morning session as well as our evening one too. Thankfully, it warmed up quickly and we were able to get some amazing motorcycle shots!

One of our favorite things to capture in our sessions lately is movement within the scene. We love how the movement flows through the photos and draws your eyes into the image.  It just adds a little more magic! Now add in Cayla & CJ on the Harley and it’s a true dream come true!

For the evening, we hiked up to Cathedral rock and experienced the epic vortex and spectacular views. It’s about a 1.5 mile hike and worth every step. From the red rocks climbing into the sky, to the 360 degree views at the top, it is one of our all time favorite hikes.
