With the snow on the ground and a nip in the air we headed up the mountain to Sapphire Point Overlook for Meagan and Matt’s engagement session that overlooked the city. These two began their long distance (Meagan lived in North Carolina and Matt lived in Breckenridge) relationship in Breckenridge, CO so it was only fitting that we take their engagement photos here. It was a chilly morning but the views were to die for and Meagan and Matt were troopers! They didn’t mind keeping each other warm either!
Meagan and Matt plan to have their wedding in Wilmington, NC this December with tons of winter themed decor. So it was perfect and definitely fitting that it snowed for their engagement session! There is something about snow that makes everything seem even more romantic. With stunning views and two gorgeous humans to photograph what more could we ask for? Hope you enjoy their engagement as much as we did!
The mountain in the background is where they went on their first date together. They hiked the trails along the mountain side and the rest is history!
Eek we love snow so much! Unfortunately we don’t get much snow in North Carolina but we could definitely use more of it, especially for photos! Maybe we can just post up in Colorado in winter time to capture lovely winter wonderlands!!
