We probably say this a lot, haha, but we absolutely adore Napa, CA! Not only because it’s a stunning place for weddings and wedding photography but also because we got engaged in Yountville at the Villagio Hotel. Joseph told me that we had booked a wedding there the week before we had a wedding in San Francisco but we didn’t! He was sceaming. Instead of a wedding he planned to propose and it was perfect! We strolled the quaint streets of Yountville he got down on one knee in a vineyard next to the hotel. I was in such shock that I sat down on his knee because I was so confused! Haha! After I said “YES” he had dinner plans at Bottega and a sweet couple that took our photo called ahead and had a bottle of wine for us! It was so sweet and a night we will never forget! After that we spent a few days before our wedding in San Fran just exploring Napa, eating pastries at Bouchon Bakery and watching the hot air balloons go up in the morning!! If you ever have a chance to do it, we highly suggest it!
Any way, enough about us! Haha! This time we were back in Napa for Jenn and Simon’s wedding at the Meritage Resort and Spa. It’s one of the prettiest venues overlooking the rolling hills and vineyards of Napa! They were married at the top of vineyard at sunset and it was so romantic! We slipped under a fence and found this extraordinary tree with huge winding branches and tall wispy grass. It was perfect for photos!
