Joshua Tree Engagement | Joshua Tree, CA | Janell + Roger

This was our very first trip to Joshua Tree National Park! We only spent a few short hours here but it was epic. First we spent a few days in Las Vegas before heading to SoCal. One of Andrea’s best friends got engaged and married all in one day! haha! We surprised her by being there for her boyfriends proposal and then they turned around and surprised us by eloping at A Little White Chapel on the strip! It was also very epic and such a blast celebrating the two’s engagement and elopement!! How many people can say they got engaged and married all in the same day?!? Haha! So after spending a few days in Vegas we started our trip to Joshua Tree. This is our 2nd drive across the country and this time we went the southern route. It’s wild how quickly the scenery changes from state to state and even within a state!

But there’s nothing like seeing the sunset in the desert. The sun hangs in the sky and you can soak up every once of daylight and golden hour for photographs. We met Janell and Roger and just explored for their engagement session. The crazy, Cat in the Hat, looking trees popping out of the arid setting was such a unique backdrop. We loved it and we hope you enjoy their engagement session as much as we did!
