It is always such a wonderful feeling to drive up to Il Bella Gardens to capture the story of a wedding day. The emotions always come flying back as we remember the magical day we had when we got  married under the pines of this gorgeous piece of property 5 years ago.

Kim and Larry have treated us like family for over ten years and we know that a wedding at their venue will always be filled full love and laughter. Lauren and Dillon were just that. Two people, ridiculously head over heels in love with one another. It was so contagious that we found ourselves continuously laughing behind the cameras.

After their peaceful ceremony amongst the trees, we roamed the property as the sun faded over the distant fields. Lauren and Dillon laid down in the tall grasses the same as they did in their engagement session. It was the perfect time to take a moment and reflect on the day that had just flown by.

We love it when couples take time for themselves on the wedding day. It’s your day, enjoy it!

The Venue

Il Bella Gardens wedding venue is located on 20 acres of land in Stanly County. About 45 minutes east of Charlotte. The outdoor gardens, tall pines, and meandering paths through the forest makes this one of the most desirable venues in the Charlotte area. Larry and Kim have built a place that is highly customizable for your day. With several different locations to hold your ceremony and reception, you can be flexible with where your ceremony will be.  You will also be okay in the event there is poor weather. Il Bella features a covered pavilion that can hold nearly 200 people. Walls and windows can also be installed during the Winter months.
