Arriving back in Hampton Bays for Tori and Robbie’s wedding on Friday the 13th felt amazing! We loved capturing their engagement session on the beach on Long Island last year and we’ve been looking forward to coming back ever since. When we met this beautiful couple we instantly clicked. They are not only amazing people but capturing their love and how much they love each other is effortless. You can really see how meant for each other they are just by watching them interact. Robbie looks at Tori with this smirk and twinkle in his eye like there is no one else in the world but her. Then Tori sneaks peeks at him with the biggest grin on her face. It’s adorable to capture and their happiness and love is so infectious.
The Basilica Parish of the Scared Hearts in Southhampton is a gorgeous place for a wedding. It is a cathedral church with huge stained glass windows. After their vows they took the North Fork Trolley to their reception in Westhampton to the Quogue Field Club. An intimate private club nestled amongst a world class golf course and the bay. The reception was decorated with live plants, succulents, and hints of lavender. Tori didn’t want the flowers to die so she had live plants for center pieces and gave them to guests after the wedding. Love this idea!
Tori was an absolute beach goddess in her Sarah Seven wedding dress and this is one of our all time favorite dress shots! The crisscross back and high neck is so elegant and with that veil, ahhh we love it!
Robbie’s dad was at the hospital recovering from being ill, but that didn’t stop him from attending the wedding and even jumping in family photos. They had a computer set up for the ceremony and then Facetime for photos. He even got to dance as guests took the laptop to the dance floor and took turns dancing with him! So awesome he was still able to feel a part of the day!
Not only did Tori and Robbie get married on Friday the 13th but it was also a full moon. The moon was low on the horizon as we walked outside for some doughnuts by Dreesen’s. Tori’s mom stated it was imperative they have them because Robbie is a cop. (Check out our Instagram highlights for the behind the scenes of when Tori tells us this story! haha!)
The following day, after their epic wedding, we met them down at the beach. The beach in Hampton Bays where we first met them for their engagements. Sunrise was peaking over the rocks and water as we walked out onto the sand. Everyone was a little sleepy from the evening festivities but this was worth it!
