We love traveling to the mountains of North Carolina and when Cam and Rachel said they loved the mountains too, we knew the views of Grandfather Mountain near Boone, NC would be perfect for their engagement session! We ventured up the rocks and the gorgeous scenery surrounded us on all sides. It was a bit windy so it was a little hard for Rachel’s hat to stay on. Haha! But it created some really sweet moments of Cam helping her keep it on and her hair blowing around them! 

By the end of the shoot the sky turned into a cotton candy, pastel dream. They kissed, and held their hands in the sky as we captured the almost full moon between them. Ahh it gives us chills how epic it was! 

The session was surreal. Not just because of the beauty of these two in the mountains, but because we met Cam a few years while photographing another couples wedding! He was their videographer and we hit it off immediately. We loved his creative approach to the wedding day and laid back attitude. It’s always awesome to meet other creatives in the wedding industry and mesh so well together! We couldn’t be more happy for him and Rachel and we cannot wait to capture their wedding day!
