Fall along the Blue Ridge Parkway is our favorite. The crisp air, the beautiful colors and stunning views of the mountains is always a recipe for amazing photographs. When they say “romantic Asheville” it is just that and especially at Black Balsam knob for an engagement session! It’s perfection!
Lauren and Dillon met us at the bottom of the trailhead. This was our first visit here as well, so we were all excited to see what the views looked like at the top. We were surrounded by the Blue Ridge Mountains and a golden sunset when we got to the top. It was breathtaking! We will say we were all not prepared for how cold it got. As the sun dipped lower and lower, we got colder and colder. Haha! By the end we all were freezing and it was hard to even push the shutter button on the camera but we soaked up ever last ounce of this epic sunset!! More Asheville engagements please!
Ahhh take us back to this epic sunset! Seriously, it could not have been more perfect. We are frequently traveling up to Asheville and we will definitely be back here soon!
