Sunrise at Ocean Isle is always so romantic for engagement photographs and who doesn’t love a good beach session?! Mostly everyone on the island is there for vacation so they are sleeping in and the beach is people free. The sun rises over the water and your are surrounded by the orange glow of the summer morning. It was exactly this way for Brittany and Casey’s engagements a few months ago. They laughed, danced and played in the ocean and then we headed into some of the pathways that run up and down the island once the sun got too high in the sky.

After the sun came up and it was too bright on the beach for any more photos, we headed in land. With the cover of the trees and shrubs along the boardwalk it was perfect. These two had a quick outfit change and then Casey carried Brittany on his back through the sand. He spun her around making her laugh and he almost fell over from being so dizzy. Haha! Which really made these two bust into the cutest laughter. Our favorite part was the winding, wooden boardwalks that connected each section of the walkway. They look so magical, especially shooting through the trees it looks like a scene from a fairy tale for sure!

Take us back to the beach for more engagement sessions in Ocean Isle please! Winter is here and we are missing the warmth of the sunshine on our face and the smell of salt water in the air. We are forever dreaming of summer!
