An Italy Engagement Session at Cadini Di Misurina in the Dolomites: Post-Proposal Adventure

After Tristan’s breathtaking proposal at Cadini di Misurina, the magic didn’t end there. As we hiked back down to our cars, the morning light continued to paint the Dolomite mountains in the most perfect glow. We decided to take full advantage of the stunning surroundings. And what better way than by capturing their engagement session right then and there?

Tristan had come prepared, bringing along a change of outfits for Cara. This turned out to be ideal, because it was easy to transition from the intimate proposal moment to a fresh, playful shoot, all while staying in the same stunning location. Looking back from Cadini di Misurina, the view of Croda del Rifugio and other towering peaks in the distance provided a breathtaking backdrop. It felt like we were in a dream—or even a scene from The Sound of Music.

Cara and Tristan made the most of the moment, running around, laughing, and picking each other wildflowers. The light, the love, the landscape! It all came together so naturally, creating images that were as timeless as the mountains surrounding us. Their playfulness and affection made it easy to capture. And the pure joy they share, and the energy of the entire session was electric.

Honestly, it will be hard to top this epic morning. From the proposal to the engagement session, everything fell into place in the most magical way. The Dolomites provided the perfect stage for such a special moment, and we are so grateful to have been a part of Cara and Tristan’s unforgettable day. What a truly incredible adventure!
