Yosemite National Park is known for its awe-inspiring landscapes, but it became even more breathtaking for Jordan and Connor, who traveled all the way from North Carolina for their intimate elopement. Nestled among towering pines, winding river, and dramatic granite cliffs, the couple said their vows in one of the most iconic spots in the park—Cathedral Beach—with a stunning view of Half Dome.

Their ceremony was everything you imagine a Yosemite National Park elopement to be: romantic, picturesque, and full of love. Before the ceremony, the couple shared a quiet moment for their first look beneath the towering pine trees. It was the perfect setting to calm their nerves and soak in the beauty around them. As they made their way toward the ceremony site, a little grasshopper decided to take a detour. The little guy got caught in the tulle of Jordan’s dress. In a moment of unexpected humor, Connor, along with Jordan’s mom and sister, gently helped the little insect back to the wild. It was a funny and memorable moment that had everyone giggling just before the ceremony began.

After the ceremony, we headed into Yosemite Valley. Where the sun was starting to dip low and casting a warm glow over the golden grass. It was the perfect time to capture some portraits in the valley. With the light filtering through the trees and the mountains in the distance. From there, we made our way up to Taft Point for sunset. The hike offered plenty of opportunities for photos as we moved along the trail. Then we were kicking up dust and catching the light streaming through the trees. By the time we reached Taft Point, Jordan’s dress had taken on an unexpected beauty—it looked like it had an ombre effect, with soft, earthy tones blending from the dust of the trail. She embraced it, and it was stunning.

Finally, we reached Taft Point, where the breathtaking views of the valley and the setting sun left everyone in awe. The sky lit up in stunning shades of pink and orange, the perfect end to a day filled with love and unforgettable memories. This Yosemite National Park elopement gave Jordan and Connor a truly special experience they’ll cherish forever.
