We are in full Christmas mode around here and a new Amazon box is delivered every day as the sound of our cats drinking water out of our Christmas tree can be heard constantly. We have already went through a ridiculous amount of firewood and it really hasn’t even been cold yet. The sound and warmth of a fire in the fireplace is our favorite part of the season, so we have a fire nearly every night. Cough cough, Andrea wants one every night. The fact that this year is nearly over, blows our minds! This was our 11th full wedding season and it was one we will never forget!
Let’t take a trip back to May of this year for Katlyn and Nate’s day below!
One of favorite venues to photograph a wedding around the Charlotte area is Morning Glory Farm in Monroe, NC. The light throughout the venue and grounds always creates beautiful images. At Katlyn and Nate’s wedding this summer it was again perfection! Also, all the trails and flowers are so dreamy.
Katlyn and Nate were both beaming throughout the day. They both constantly had huge smiles on their faces and when they’d talk about each other they would get so giddy. They even teared up a few times describing one another and their relationship and it was so sweet.
The ceremony took place overlooking a pond on the property and as Katlyn walked through the archways of flowers, Nate couldn’t help but cry. She was stunning and rocked a gorgeous, long sleeve lace dress by Angel Rivera. Nate was so nervous, as most grooms are, right before the ceremony started but as soon as they saw each other his nerves settled as they finally said “I do”. As they kissed, the crowd cheered, and they danced back down the aisle to head to the reception. It was finally time to celebrate!!
We hope you enjoy their beautiful, summer wedding as much as we did!
